  • They're both wearing hi-viz, though, so that's OK.

    must be a good thing,
    cant help wondering if they might be as well advised to ride around the streets they are in 'charge of' though ?, and get some cycle training

  • Toured the Netherlands in August and encountered our first Dutch roundabout at rush hour, wow! how easy is that, works like a dream. The reason there wasn't as much traffic was because everyone was on a bike, put in the infrastructure, tweak a few traffic laws and attitudes and culture will begin to change.

  • These roundabouts work well in NL, but drivers here are much more inclined to give way to cyclists - in fact they frequently assume you are not going to stop even if the lights are against you. I think attitudes would have to change a lot for them to work in UK.

  • TRL are doing some focus groups at the TFL offices. Something to do with road signs, but an easy 20 quid...

    I've signed up as interested to see how these things work. See if I get a spot. Flyer attached with dates times and contact details.
