with the picture in the rossin thread, that he bought 3 laser, paid nearly nothing and transported them very badly, the price shouldn't be that much
-
• #103
where do you ppl know from how much was paid??
-
• #104
^ It costs as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Fundamental value is much harder to ascertain.
its not that hard, value of anything is subjective.

Did he take the photo at exactly the same time as someone flicked a rubber band at him?

Would the downtube not show signs of a front impact if it was sufficient to bend the top tube?
-
• #114
That's a dreadful sentence, sorry.
#2:
Would the down tube not show signs of damage if the bike had been in a frontal impact sufficient to bend the top tube?

Obviously the seller needs to sell one of the frames to get an iphone for better pics!

• #118
Classic design or not, this frame looks a mess. Feel whoever buys it will get burned.
-
• #119
How long is a piece of string I guess, but what would a re-spray do to the value given the condition of the paint?
-
• #120
Ask him to sand it and show what it looks like under the paint :)
Seriously im gonna agree with t-v and just say that its a gamble. But at the right price it may be a very good gamble. Who knows.
Wasent lasers built with some kind of filler in that area? If so were they prone to showing cracks in this area?

what does everyone think of this
Defo looks a bit "Sus" think I personally would like to see the bare metal before paying out. MAX tubing was a very thin gauge , easily damaged.
