Not sure if this is the right thread for this* but would love to see someone build something pimpin' out of these 26" carbon rims. I'd buy them myself if I had a bike that suited. The cheapest one is currently sat at £2.20 + £8 P&P with 3hr to go!

@t0-ster comes to mind as the king of HHS 26ers?
* (I didn't want to post in eBay thread as I thought that might drive the price up)

There isnt anything on this page vaguely as nice as your Swarf. The Speedball is pretty though.

This bike was yet another journey into the creative pain cave. It was not something I had wanted to do. It was something I had to do. The war must be fought and we need the best tools. This is the magic bullet that goes around corners. Now, it’s inspiring further exploration in design.
Well weapon

Also that has to be the most pointless seattube bend I've ever seen

This bike was a bit of work, but it's done now.

it's basically a pipedream moxie with a direct mount stem, which I would like to try

Who or what is this war being fought against?

Of course, you’re saying to yourself, “I’ve seen this before…”. But you haven’t. Maybe you’d be thinking of the Syncros Hixon IC bar stem concept. You’d be wrong though. This bar, while novel in construction and superficially similar to mine, is not at all the same. It is merely a traditional bar and a traditional stem made one. The bend of the bar places the grips in the exact same position to traditional setups but with the drawback in lack of adjustability. The Sycros part was designed to cut weight and nothing more. My bar completely re-positions the grip relative to the steerer by re-imagining where the axii could be.
I mean, this is just silly right? Surely a bit of backsweep (like, 4° is enough to bring your grips back 20mm) achieves the same thing, in the same way that L-shaped cranks work exactly like normal cranks except with more flex and weight.
When he was in the creative pain cave, was that because it was really hard to come up with a bit of text explaining why he built something so weird?
Recently updated my Stooge Speedball. Sadly the Truss fork it had just wasn't for me so i replaced it for a DT Swiss one. Now its kinda like a "big BMX"
