Jeeebus that is terrifying

It used to be a Thing (it well may still be) where car companies would design bikes for....reasons. Porsche and BMW used to produce suspension MTB "bikes" in the 90s that were utter shit. That looks like part of a long tradition of stupid internal enginering exercises.

Apparently they applied their linkage front sus model to a pedal bike - similar to the Whyte.
Not quite sure what is going on the with terrifying high pivot URT nonsense at the back, and holy shit elastomers everywhere.

Total HHSMTB or totally over forked...or both?

None of that slack headtube angle nonsense going on there ^^

Is the rear shock the correct length?
Looking at pics on google of them they don't seem to have that much bb rise. Would also account for the steep headtube angle.

Maybe set up for too much sag.
-

Yep the rear shock is a tad too long, I switched the mounting plate around and flipped the shock to clear as much as possible, still too long so set up a lot of sag, it's actually pretty fun to ride atm. Been trying to get a few bikes up and running with what I've got knocking around, finished these 3 ones off last weekend (sorry for the crap pics)

Impending Bespoked Poverty klaxon!
I don't suppose anyone is in the market for this fine, hip-hop slavery MTB from the earliest period of the worlds best decade?
