Hoping to make it along to this, if I haven't broken myself on a tree by then.

Missing this for the second year running :(

Shit bags! They've dropped it! I really wanted to give this another go this year, see if I could make it a further.

^I'm sure if the 'king' of the skid sent them an email they would put the skid back into the programme again! =)
-
• #32
Let's face it, people who skid are just some out-of-touch hillbillies who haven't heard of brakes yet. :)

• #33
Brakes?
-
• #34
I'm sure his Derny biek has two brakes :)

just entered the LCC Urban Cyclecross, :-)

I have the ultimate bike for urban cyclocross, just smash into things and hope they move.
-
• #37
Will be there for sure!

just entered the LCC Urban Cyclecross,
Shame - I won't be there in time to enter that*
*several years too late :-(

Awesome! Entered as well.
I wonder if they will make a special mud pit, just for that authentic snap your rear derailleur feeling.

photoben has entered too he tells me... there is intra-forum competition!!
-
• #41
Looks like they're struggling to fill places for the Track crit, as they've pushed back the entry date to next Monday. There's still time to represent!
-
• #42
At the price of almost £30 to enter the race, I wonder why is that?
-
• #43
shitballs, I posted on the microcosm.app lfgss but forgot to add it here.
Myself, MissMouse, Branwen, O'shane & Scoot are all celebrating our (early june)birthdays that day starting at the nocturne in the daytime and then heading to a pub nearby after (tbd)
there should be a large forum contingent there and everyone is welcome to come join our gathering and get very drunk indeed.

I was considering it just to get some experience but there's no way I'm paying £30 to experience coming DFL...

True the entry price is a touch steep, but if it gets you into the the Rapha enclosure...Anyways, there IS a cash prize, so all to race for :-)

PS Come on Indra, get involved!
-
• #47
I'd donate £1 for Indra to get involved...
-
• #48
But I wouldn't win, I'd enter if it was free and I was allowed.
-
• #49
I can't see any age limit, but if you're talking about skidding being frowned-upon, could be a problem. Who's to say you won't win?

Over 16.... Indra is not!
Yeah, looking at the schedule, looks like it's been dropped. Maybe they can integrate it with the crit by insisting riders skid across the finish line.
