I assume you're joking on both counts

I made up the first bit. I think the second bit is probably true

really?
There's another 74km off TT's to come, during which Wibbles will wipe the floor with Niggles and Hesjedal-if anything Evans is more of a threat atm.
As long as he doesn't have any more crashes or upsets in the mountains he's still very much going to be in the mix.

As uber points out, with TTs and MTFs to come there's a load of racing left and huge chunks of time can be won or lost. Wiggins could be in pink tomorrow night.

Sky 3 9.30pm for your highlights.
Don't like to see cyclists going down and getting hurt but today was great entertainment. Great ride by Hansen, but nobody really had the incentive to get after him.
You'd think Wiggins will get 40-50 secs on Nibs and loads on Santambrogio tomorrow. Maybe 30 on Cuddles. Still leaves him way off the pace. His best chance was to get ahead in the TT and then defend in the mountains. I don't see where he goes from here. I'd like to think there's a Plan B, but I doubt it.
Can't wait to see him tear it up tomorrow.

Don't go to the clinic then, they loved it

Don't see him being in pink after tomorrow and I think he'll lose more time in the mountains.
Just a feeling. Hope I'm wrong

Grim day. How does Nibbles stack up in the TT vs. Hesjedal?
Reckon Wiggo might be able to move up into Maglia Rosa tomorrow though -
• #335
^^Bit naive to judge it after 7 stages. Wiggins can climb better than most, and is almost dead cert to win any TT's
-
• #336
He's looked strong when he's managed to stay on the bike. Hopefully the fall hasn't hurt him, you can be sure the preparation for his TT has been fierce. Good chance I'm going to be shouting my head off tomorrow.
I also don't think Sky have shown their hand yet.

Sky have been very quiet, which in my mind shows there's a lot more to come
-
• #338
Has Wiggins had to change his bike in every stage so far? Or is it just punctures?
-
• #339
One bike for climbing with the right gearing

Its just been shadow boxing so far, not going to gain much time but you can lose it, like Wiggins. There will be harsher selections and pretenders will fade. Can't flipping wait

I've ridden a lot of the route of tomorrow's TT and it's similar to the Besancon TT from last year's Tour. In that Wiggins put 1:43 into Evans and just over 2 minutes into Nibali. Tomorrow's stage is 15 kms or so longer so if Wiggins is on form you'd expect him to gain similar amounts of time. We'll see. Personally I think something is amiss, but I could be completely wrong.

Same here. I could understand if he was just hiding in the bunch but Cadel manages to do just that and still show himself when it counts (ie. 2nd place, 6th place, etc). You don't see him on camera but he's up there. Wiggo's off the back, on the deck, in the cars, etc. Whatever he's doing he's not riding like someone looking to win.

Nah, when you get to the overhead, you're already past the section where, Goss is squeezing Bouhanni into the railings (intentionally or not) and there's a bit of head butting, shoulder barging going on, before it opens up and that's where the overhead starts, and Bouhanni gets a bit of space to try and go round Goss.
see this video for what I'm talking about,

I see what you mean but everyone was bouncing off everyone else just like a good sprint should be. Goss saw the gap and held it. Bouhanni had to come around. I see nothing wrong going on here.

We'll find out tomorrow where his form is. I also think he isn't right. If I had to put money on anyone now it would be Hesjedal.

Me too. Sky keep insisting the Giro is not like the Tour but it's not *that *different.

Anyway I will be at Wembley tomorrow so I would appreciate some info on this thread so I can check it out during City's goal celebrations.
Sky have removed coverage now Wiggins is out of contention
