  • Sport is basically a fascistoid lie.

If we all ignored them they'd soon go away and start growing prize vegetables or something.

Do you stand on the sidelines at your kids school watching the egg and spoon race, purple in the face, temples throbbing, howling "FACIST SCUM!"?

  • I know he's not currently set to, but could Niballi carry this form in to the Tour as well?

  • "The Di Luca is innocent and I will clear my name."

    Hahahaha

    Fuck off.

  • Depends how many blood bags he has stached.

  • Do you stand on the sidelines at your kids school watching the egg and spoon race, purple in the face, temples throbbing, howling "FACIST SCUM!"?

Sports days are now non-competitive, thanks to the Skullies of this world.

It's all, "well done for taking part"
Meanwhile my kids are like, "did you see how fast I ran Dad?

  • I know he's not currently set to, but could Niballi carry this form in to the Tour as well?

He's said he won't ride the Tour because he has an eye on the Worlds and wants to ride the Vuelta to build for those. The team may other ideas however....

  • Depends how many blood bags he has stached.

A lot less than he did on Monday morning, judging by that TT ;)

So Brajkovic is their current Tour GC contender? hmmm

  • Depends how many blood bags he has stached.

any luck he's the same blood type as Vino so he can just use his stash from before he retired, I hear Astana likes to keep it handy around about GT time just incase.

  • The way Di Luca brought the hammer down during a steep climb, and made a fast moving Sky train look like they were parked, in stage 4. Was one of, if not the, highlight for me so far.

    FFS!

I think Fuglsang will lead Astana at the Tour.

Balanced by hot headed competitive dads like me, shouting....

'If I see so much as a gram of compassion for your enemy, in your eyes. I will piss in your Skylanders collection, and use your 'where's wally' books as bog paper! Crush them, and delight in the feel of their suffering under your heel!'

Kids need gentle encouragement. Even in mini league football.

  • I think Fuglsang will lead Astana at the Tour.

Doesn't have much recent GT experience does he (not exactly his own fault though)

  • I totally forgot about him after his Bruyneel instigated RSLT fatwa. World Tour Points system at its finest in removing a fantastically gifted rider from circulation for a year.

  • What are the odds now on Cav completing his GT points jersey collection?

He still has a lot of mountains to climb before the finish line.

Cycling is harder to predict than I thought.

  • Yeah, basically should gift the red jersey to Cav. Not one he'll necessarily be too proud of because of it though.

Generally the Giro has been spoilt by the weather. Damn you God

  • Lance Armstrong ‏@lancearmstrong 1m

Knowing I have 0 cred on the doping issue - I still can't help but think, "really Di Luca? Are you that ****ing stupid??"

    You couldn't make it up

  • Yeah Di Luca is the fucking stupid one alright.

    Arsehole.

  • '0 cred' is putting a bit of a positive spin on it.

  • quality rider Jakob Fuglsang, i hope he gets back in the spotlight.. where he belongs

yeah cos' Di Luca hasn't even covered the basics of bribing the UCI, intimidating his opponents, opponents spouses, teammates, teammates spouses, hasn't publically called his soigneur a prostitute and an alcoholic, actively pursued covert relationships with pharmaceutical companies or taken out insurance on winning bonuses for the team that he is simultaneously part owner for and star rider... i mean, what kind of a fucking half assed amateur is he?

  • yeah he should have just said 'Di Luca...amateur'

  • Di Luca I am so disappoint

  • The way Di Luca brought the hammer down during a steep climb, and made a fast moving Sky train look like they were parked, in stage 4. Was one of, if not the, highlight for me so far.

The old fella in fluro with next to no racing this season, employed for his points after being left with no ride (and looking like his career was over).
I'd not heard of him or his previous bans but for me it was instant ((( alarm bells ))) !

...perhaps a truth and reconciliation process to wash the dirty laundry in public and finally put it to bed.

Why would a typical rider do this? They wouldn't and it wouldn't work.
