^^ so much dorrah. You should definitely find some thing for that budget. I've had quite of luck using the wanted section in the past. It may take. While but if you're very specific in what you want it yields strong search results to sellers.

Looking at a Claud track frame with a stuck seat pin for <100 dorrah. Is it worth it, is it not hell on earth to get them out?
-
• #133
A few shops should be able to do it for you for around £30, often at the expense of the paintwork around the seatpost clamp though.
-
• #134
Depends how stuck it is. Any sensible shop will give you an hourly rate rather than a flat fee.

UTFS "stuck seatpost": several threads covering every angle.
Whether it's worth it, is a question best answered after the fact.

would you like this at £175 http://hilarystone.com/images/sale%20images/frames/noname-track.jpg
it gives way for being creative in the paint department.

Fuck off giving £175 to him though.

Bon Velo in Herne Hill got mine out for the minimum labour charge - £15 I think, seatpost + vice + rotate bike, took 5 mins. No damage that I am aware of. Made a horrific noise mind you.

I admire the way he does business.

Why does everyone hate HS now?
I think it's mainly because of the one case where he bought a whole bike for around £300 and sold just the frame for £500 or so. There might be other things.
I don't see the big problem with that, just like any antiques dealer or 2nd hand shop owner really.

I'm putting my 2010 (the red and white one) Fuji Track Comp up for sellz because I never ride it and am not much cop at track. It's only been ridden to and from Herne Hill whilst I've had it and pretty much the same with the two previous careful owners from On Here.
Everything still stock bar a slightly shorter stem - not the flashiest of track bikes but great for beginners (who persevere!) - am no good at posting pics but can email any to interested parties. How does £250 sound? Happy to stand corrected if wildly off the mark.
