Theo you suck. But Theo should take first in place for the saddle, it's more akin to his ride than mine.

JB what the fuck?

Sad times, stunning bike and good luck with the sale. -

Road bike over a sick fixie?
Man needs at least one of each.

Naaaaaaaaaa I'm good :-) have thought about this a lot, and its just not what I want. I probably should have figured that out when I sold the avivalo.
Maybe when I'm earning more and can afford the luxury of having another sweet NJS build, I will, but for now, I want a road bike.

Buy my seta, road bike and sweet fixeh.
-
• #33
I've bought and sold a few bikes.... All I can say is, if this were mine, and fit, I would keep 4evz.
What you wanting to ride that can't be done on this with some drops?
-
• #34
Nothing. I know I could ride anything on it, but whether it would be as pleasant as doing it on a road bike is a totally different matter.
-
• #35
How about SS?
-
• #36
personal experience is road bike > fixed for miles (nerg away) but a man needs a fixed bike too, you will regret
-
• #37
You could keep the Panny then.

Tom, I have Pomp and Dolanz.

ah fair dude, pana is an awesome bike but i do love roadie-ing
why a steel roadie specifically? you want that traditional look?
-
• #40
Makes total sense to me.
He has a pompino that does everything this bike does and more (you can lock it for a start...)
Fuck riding 100's of miles on that bike. What road bike you thinking JB?
-
• #41
It's also a fucking great price, considering what it cost to put together!
-
• #42
Keep the Panasonic, stick some less bling wheels on it, ride the shit out of it.
Sell the 2 generic Taiwanese frames.

Yeah, and I don't want a shit cheap crabon frame, which is all I would be able to afford. I want a frame that'll genuinely last for years. And I'm a sucker for lugs.

Thanks Tenders, that is how I see it too.
At the moment I'm looking at either steel eBay bargains and then adding Apex. Or alternatively if I purchased new I would like a TFG Wide Open or an All City Mr Pink, and again adding Apex. Though other than it being shiny, I am struggling to see a massive benefit in buying new considering the cost to performance ratio.
