  • Will look moar boss here!

  • I think yours is too classy for rotors.

  • I like your brake levers.

  • What size seatpost does it take? That's the only thing I'd change.

  • 27.2, convenient as you're selling one...

  • I think the 3T stealth post would look great. I'm selling a Palladio but it's 31.6

I wouldn't stick Rotors on it personally but it will hardly look bad.

  • Bar the stem, you've nailed it. It's a beaut.

Don't be fooled into putting Rotors on just because they are en vogue for Spring '13.

  • 3T stealth.. Yeah would work, if one came up 2nd hand at a good price I'd have it.

Me and that stem got some good memories together. What would you prefer? Matching 3T?

    would suit.

or even the 3T with the white stripe.

  • I like the seatpost and stem. don't fuck with it!!!

  • I was thinking rotors and am classics would give a lighter build... Not that it matters. j should just leave it alone really.

  • I like your brake levers.

    Not sure if insult...

I personally think my brake setup would look good on this, classy and practical like, well not the hubs.

  • I really like it as it is, rotor cranks sound nice, love the DA/crabon wheels though.

  • In the mean time, I was thinking about it and just find riding bulls so much more fun than drops, so why haz drops on my favourite bike? I tried Crono lo rider before but didn't feel right, just fitted these Sytance bars and feel pretty good. Not really aggressive, but feels a good position for sure.

Just returned the read wheel that was borrowed by the Sirius for the last slide, hub was solid so stripped it all cleaned and regreased. Feeling better now ha.

  • Love the bike tm, any idea where those chinese carbon rims are from?

And also dibs those bars if you ever sell, been searching for some for ages, got sniped on ebay last time I saw them.

  • China?

  • new someone would say something like that indra ;) was looking for something more specific because if i ever go down the route of chinese crabon, i dont want it exploding on me

  • Ah well they're open mould rims so pretty much all the same (not racist)

Find ones that have a pleasing price and weave you want, when they arrive look them over and if there are no visual defect ride time, if there are visual defects return them.

Don't run a brake on them even if they claim to have a braking surface as not even the big companies like Reynolds have stopped their carbon clinchers exploding yet.

  • yeah, i reckon when i get the funds together it'll probably be from one of the "good" chinese rim companies like farsports or something

  • Yifunbike are supposed to be decent.

  • I have no idea what the wheels are, I bought them 2nd hand on here.

What I do know, is they make an amazing noise! Was riding down an alleyway the other day and they were echoing wom from the walls... intense.

  • Had a great ride yesterday, do love this bike. Will be building it back up with Planet X compact drops and the Campag levers though I think, not the "raddest" setup, but make the most sense for riding this.... Really not a fan of drops without levers away from the track, and bulls just aren't right for the geo.

  • Totally agree w u re drops and levers for riding. I've been trying to get used to just drops but the extension of the lever hood make things so much better esp for longer runs. What are the Planet X ones like? I've been considering a set of Deda zero 100's w my SRAM levers..

  • Yeah, general riding is a lot more comfortable with hoods, and I find climbing without is really difficult, as a big lad I like to get alot of leverage on the bars to drag my ass up....

The Planet X bars are nice, if you're buying new though I'd say get some Deda RHM 02, they're a good shape, have a classy finish, and an ovalised top section which looks good and is comfortable. Cheap too, alot cheaper than the zero 100s!

  • True, climbs with hoods are def much easier and do provide a lot more leverage. Cheers, I'll have a look at those Deda's then. I'm after something with an oval/flatter top section so they could fit the bill. The condor looks ace mate, it's great that it cycles as good as it looks too.
