Apparently the section between Bough Beech and Bayleys Hill is in desperate need of repair too. You can always take the next left turn off the B2027 onto Hale Oak Road, then left at the end onto Bowzell Road. This leads you past the usual junction onto Bayleys.

It is indeed closed for repairs, and according to the Kent County Council website is due to reopen on 10th May.

Last night I rode along Hale Oak Road and IMHO is a far nicer route to take to Bayleys anyway. Although a sharpish left hand bend nearly caught me out.

Not good. My second TNRC and I'm out due to an exam on Friday which I've just found out I'm woefuly underprepared for. Very poor show.
