Am cycling overnight to Felpham this Thursday, which is why I didn't sign up for tonight. Forecast looks about the same.

Felpham, my other half's parents live neighbouring Middleton. Rode there once, never again. Terrible, boring roads most of the way.

I've pulled out of the Felpham TNRttC, and I'm pulling out of the TNRC. Fuck you, weather, fuck you.

Well you must have taken the wrong route benjam - the standard route for the FNRttC is a real joy, although itsbruce will on this TNRttC be missing out the cross country bit and the gurkha bridge and the lovely climb after crossing the Arun, and may even have to skip the roll down into Arundel that is so beautiful that it once brought a tear to my rheumy middle-aged eye.

I just bailed on the Felpham FNRttC as well - agreed with Ludd, the original is a great route. Stay warm out there Bruce. 4 mile roundtrip ride to Squash at Brentford for me tonight
