I'm part of the way there, but I still need to decide on some major things like rims (archetypes'? Open sports?) and brakes (Avid BB7s'? Hope hydraulic adapter?)

Yeah, i'm getting mine modified this week hopefully, so it'll have proper straps to attach it to the rack.

Nice! Been pondering the Croix de Fer or a Cross Check for forever so I'm very jealous.

I was giving some thought to the disc trucker or even some kind of disc cross frame, but this came up on ebay for a good price and who can resist the call of the bay? It just means i've got to sell three frames now that I no longer need.

That's the 2013 frame too you jammy git. Last season's frame was white. Bleurghhh.

Well it might be the 2012 actually, the previous owner had downtube braze on's added to give him the option of running fiction shifters.

He then had it powered coated a rather nice dark blue, had it treated with Dinitrol and promptly decided he didn't want it.

Ferry from Venice to Croatia.
