  • Hang him proudly on the wall until further notice!

You keeping this post on Lee Brooper? Do you need the setback?

  • Hah, I suppose I could take down all the paintings to make space for some real art.

I prefer setback normally and the seat tube is extra steep anyway so I figured it would be best, I'm going to at least try out an inline for maximising the craziness tho, I was talking about it at beers just earlier actually.

  • Hey Theo, the Brooper looks great! The crankset makes it. You taking this to the hhsb ride?

  • Black Thomson layback 1000000%

  • ^^thanks man! Most likely will take it on the HHSB ride, yeah.
^was my original thought but I think it'll look either really good(/slave) or really really shit so I not sure yet. I mostly got this one (Planet X carbon) as it was cheap and it's nice and simple, and it can go on my notanAlan if I change.

  • It looks rather good with that post.

  • oh god, layback would look rather shit, pls don't

  • What's the stem/riser/aerobar set up in this photo? I fancy doing something similar

  • ^they're deda aerobars, random stem and bars - but the aerobars weren't shimmed properly, they would've moved if I put any weight on them. Possibly it would work with different shims and/or a wider clamping area on the bars.

Anyway, this is basically finished now. I'm going to get a Sugino 75 ring I think but it'll look pretty much the same, I decided not to go for a Zen.

Hummm, this calls for another Clowns Ride, when the orange ball returns to the sky above London...

  • This is just too good.

  • What building is that in the back ground?

  • Senate House, I took the picture after picking it from Fitzrovia Bikes where I got the headset fitted + my uni is round there.

  • sick bike man, 10/10

  • I like the DA over a 75. Looking boss.

  • its sick.
my vote goes for a jag and risers though!

  • I forgot about that actually, I haven't ridden it with them yet so I should try it and get a picture.

  • yeah man, I had this as a wallpaper for couple of days

  • Was this converted from 650 rear?

If so does that mean that a 700c fork would return the bikes geometry to normal only with larger wheels?

    Looks epic!

  • Yeah it was converted from twin 650s, had the brake bridge raised.

  • I've thought of trying it with 700c on the front to see what the geo was like originally but then I can't really be bothered.

    Photo with risers:

It's definitely fun to ride with risers, especially down cobbled lanes, but I prefer bullhorns... the Nittos are so good.

  • Love it, the risers look awesome. I also prefer bull horns though, much quicker! And they suit this bike better I think.
