I really can't understand why you're building tubs.

im not sure, i should have really done a little more questioning as to the exact specification. i do know they are 15x305, NJS and come in a pack of 72 and are used in this wheelbuilding package:

The only clinchers ive seen and really liked are the black Araya RS-430
and they seem like they're harder to get hold of than the Tita Ace's i originally had my eye on!

ok ok ok im almost there!
Dura Ace 7500 cranks are in the country, somewhere, needs customs paying then delivery - on that today
Dura Ace 7500 Chainring - apparently (according to tracking) still stateside!?!
Dura Ace 7500 Bottom Bracket - same as above - been well over 10 days now
(really have to applaud the guys at Kagautsen - Toshi in particular - (NJS Export's ebay shop) for getting the cranks shipped to uk in about 3 days - keep up america!)
pretty much everything is here for wheels - awaiting a delivery of Hoshi Spokes today from the guys at Tokyo Fixed - Jamie and Morgan sorted me out there - really helpful fellow's
im literally playing a waiting game for parts - no more fucking about with plans, i have full 7500 groupset now and that isn't going to change!!!
As soon as parts arrive il start documenting build again!!

Delivery from Japan is always fast. It's becuase the japanese people actually take pride in their work unlike the americans that just don't give a fuck.
-
• #185
A little strange though, as the hubs were also ordered from America, a few days previous to the chainring and bb and they arrived over a week ago.....

I'm still waiting for a chainring from Japan to clear customs. The main reason I've found for slow postage is trackable EMS. As soon as it hits the Uk it goes into a huge parcelforce pile of shit and takes ages to clear customs. If I'm importing from outside the EU I try and get a proper courier service to deliver. UPS are usually pretty quick and clear through customs in no time at all.

All the stuff i've ever got from Japan (all from NJS Export/Kagetsuen) has taken less than 7 days from JP to my local Parcelforce depot, i dont bother arranging delivery, pop by the depot, pay the charges there and then and take away in my hand. Ive recieved the little tearoff slips from parcelforce detailing the charges and how to pay them over a week after having already picked the package up, i think that might be the main holdup.
I just always make sure to keep an eye on the track and trace via Parcelforce's website, i find it highly accurate and has never failed me yet, and id say over the last 3 months received 20+ packages from overseas, mainly Japan & America. -

Ha, that said in complete irony, as my latest two from america still don't even register on Parcelforce's track&trace and these are almost 3 weeks down the line!

Just popped down to LBS to get rims and hubs laced with the Hoshi's and the fella (who i trust implicitly) has told me to go buy some new rims as he wouldn't lace my hubs to "knackered tubs"........
So!
Anybody got a pair of 16b Gold Araya NJS Tubs or some other Japanese substitute, such as Araya RS 430's?
PLEASE!!?!??!?
