Polo Visitors

It's an invasion of the Pacific NW! First Seattle, then East Van, and now...Portland! I'm coming to town on the 12th. I'm moving here for 3 months. It would be sweet to stay with some polo peeps for a while to a) play polo, b) find a job and c) help get a bike. I'm Jordan. Can I sleep with you?

Also other news...dodi finishes his studies this summer and is thinking of moving to London. Super nice guy! He is also looking for teammates this summer euro tourney season. Do it someone!

So Brian and Shane have left now. They both had a great time and oft-commented how high the standard of polo was and how much fun it was to hang with the LPC. Sorry I didn't get them out of Phoenix territory much, but they had a fairly tight work schedule (Shane owns DZR with her partner Fabio and Brian is now working for DZR too) which left them North most of the time.

Norby is here now but the house he is staying in (Willlesden!) wouldn't let him bring his bike. I think he is planning to head to Downs on Saturday to watch some games so hopefully he can borrow a bike/mallet from someone.

Hi, as John announced me already, i’m in town to play some polo next week (4./5./6.).
I will bring my bike and have time all day (landing Monday at 9 am). Do you already know where you play on Monday? Hagen (Cologne)

Monday and Wednesday is South Polo, on Harper Road, SE1

Tuesday is North Polo, Mitchison Road, N1

But check the South Polo, and North Polo threads, just in case. There may be also things like league games which mean there might be polo in other places.

Not sure. You are best off asking in the South Thread on the day.

If there is South polo, you'll probably get more games at South (no league game, and lights for longer), but at North you are guaranteed there will be games (and should be prioritised for the pickup around the league game, especially if you goal ref, or something)

There will be polo at newington on Mondays. There is no league game this Monday that I know about. Even if there was we'd still do throw ins. The more the merrier.
