  • Went to Colliure last year, absolutely beautiful but sadly no bike.

  • Nerged for not bringing bike.

  • Marine Drive, Isle of man

  • more of a stupidly steep hill, but i love SF, id love to ride there

is it even possible? Looks like you'd be going so fast you would start get airtime or speedwobble that would make you crash.

  • id give it a go with some decent brakes, to be honest, getting up looks impossible on anything without some real compact gears

  • Valdobbiedene district..

  • About to overtake the green VW Beetle for the first time.

  • Loving this thread. Here's one I took from the Col d'Aspin which was an excellent climb and a really fun descent.

However, I think my favourite section of road from that trip is this which the descent from Col de Marmare to Cassou. Unfortunately I've no photos cos I was enjoying the ride too much! Street view gives this:

Doesn't really do it justice. the top half is quite wooded but you get frequent glimpses of the vista when the trees thin.

  • Marine Drive, Isle of man

Yep, that's a reet nice ride that. Although, I have to say the view down to Ramsey as you've just completed the first steep section up Snaefell (Hairpin to Water Works?) is eye-wateringly beautiful - I did a little involuntary "Wow!" as I looked over my shoulder! Unfortunately, I don't have any photos, as I was mostly concerned about exactly when my lungs might actually burst through my chest!

  • There are only a handfull of shit roads here.

  • Cycled here last summer. Amazing but not very well known road opposite Alpe d'Huez. Some lovely caves along the way too.

  • Mont Ventoux

  • Taking Alpe d'Huez from behind..

  • This looks awesome..

    on a good day..

  • Zonc

  • Tourmalet

  • To be sure.

  • Champs Elysees

  • Wessex

  • Burnley Tunnel
