Wharry's Enigma Mk II

At first we had this..

and then this happened

After 2 years of saving, searching, salvaging and collecting bits and pieces, thanks to Oswald, this arrived last weekend. Enigma Esprit being reborn as geared. I decided that this took priority over another overly tarty Ti fixed.

Mocked up and still a few bits to get, most importantly a chainset. Mostly Sram rival and thinking force or red for the cranks. Everything has been bought 2nd hand or has been salvaged from that mess at the top of the page other than the tyres and pads.
I'll try and keep this updated regularly, but hopefully shouldn't take too long to finish off.

Glad you came out relatively unscathed from the crash. That could have been all sorts of nasty.

New bikes a beaut though. Look forward to seeing it without the red spacers completed.

New Engima looks great, I remember thinking "Oh no!" when you posted the wreckage of the first one.

you mind telling what were the final resolutions of this?

for future reference, nail varnish remover will take logo's off aluminium things quite easily.

Q.. What is the consensus on Cinelli Caleido tape for this rather than default Black Brooks?

I prefer the cinelli to the brooks option, for sure.

fizik microtex is better value, but isn't as tarty.
I imagine you already knew that, though...

This guy in Australia does custom leather tape and will cover/stich/perforate saddles to match. Not cheap though.

Really like this tape, also, hope you have better luck with this one, steer clear of them black cabs!

I thought the first fixed build was nice, but the new one looks amazing. Nice work. Edge/Enve forks... instaporn!

The blacked out 'novas look nice too - I was thinking of doing something similar with my set so they match my thomson stem
