You're at risk of throwing good money after bad. Keep your conversion as it is, a beater, and invest your time and money in building up something really nice.

^this, a Keirin fork on a conversion is really not worth it.

^this, it's like putting lipstick on a pig, no offense to pigs intended though. kerin fork on a slack road frame won't give you neither the look nor the clearances you're after
