Nice ride, Looks well loved. Thats a pretty tall gear ratio you are running. The biggest setup I've ridden was 52/17 and hated anything with slight incline the whole time... Only way I would ride a similar ratio is if I had planned to go out on a proper chop/drop ride holding on for dear life... You have a pleasing seatpost/stem ratio to bar drop and deep profile rims sell the whole package. Thanks for sharing

After the whole fb marketplace fiasco I decided to focus on zone 2 training throughout the holidays. Pretty boring but I get it... I used to suffer from overtraining when my commutes interfered with social group rides... Pre marriage. Now I don't wanna leave the castle. LoL

'24 the year to coast... 2 brakes 39/17. Gotta find a longer binding bolt for the front brake to mount the rack back on
Post edit: ebay parts came in... Alien saddle gonna be tested today but 51t sugino chainring will have to wait until I feel like gearing up.

A front rack held on with bungee cords, what could go wrong.
Please don’t ride like this.

Y'all need not worry. After the test run, I decided to pull it off. Felt secure with the rubber retention strap teathered to the head tube but would bump against the lower headset cup. Because of that, my best effort was made to put padding between the mounting point which is supposed to attach through the front brake hole. Thanks for your concerns

Been hit with an Arctic snap. Below zero temperatures... Salting trucks all over the place. This is my jam for 2024. Thoughts of 1x10 via second hand sram force drivetrain were whispered in my ear.. mechanic at the shop has some spares laying around and is willing to sell for cheap

Followed by a few back to back days I think the fit feels dialed in... With the use of a bin stem/threaded adapter, I was able to raise the bars and decrease reach vs the threaded one.. disco unicorn keeps me riding

Had some days unable to ride so it gave me time to size up from 49t to 51t chainring. While I'm at it decided to swap the njs tensioners as well. I bought some bulkier aluminum tensioners to run on the Bomber... Took longer than I thought to install to keep it as level/straight against the drop out

Bomber update running 32c thickslicks with bulky tensioners slammed in the dropout... Macro clearances against the chainstays

After riding the 39t chainring a few wet weeks with a sprinkle of snow, I've determined it's time to add a few teeth up front. Now that I've had time to dial things in and adjust to rim braking technique vs fixed/brakeless riding, it's a more enjoyable experience.

Tempted to pull the trigger on some mini clip on bars for the Allez. I've had a go with mini profile branded bars years ago with the crabon norco tt frame

I'm going to disassemble the vigorelli and cannibalize the cranks/pedals/cockpit for the clown bike LoL. Considering a quick splash of color with spray bomb around the top tube seat tube seat stays conjunction. Maybe attempt a fade. I should have it this weekend. Can't wait
