I genuinely have no idea what you are talking about most of the time yet I can't stop reading.

short translation: he is a hardcore fixie rider, riding on the devils line, faster than all others, with a lot of luck and he doesn't understand how all the rest in canada don't understand his bike/riding style/way of life. he's not from this planet, he's from an outer whatever-space.

^ made me laugh out loud at work. Cheers!

riding radial front wheel for a change... definitely can feel the loss of momentum but feels more nimble due to the shaving of weight

He's probably talking about the flywheel effect of the aerospoke.

Couldn't you put them around your throat?

Sweet mudguard.

so you hold the top of the drop on that exact spot. interesting. is it pipe's insulation foam?

Please tape your bars.
If he starts trying to fix it now, he'll be there all year.
All you can do is rubberneck.

yup pipe insulation... steer it like a boat when both hands are on the pads or bus driver grip when my palms are up and elbows out.. when going through corners i prefer my outside hand on the drop while my inside hand stays on the pad... both hands in drops going straight and when i'm off the seat mostly
overlap my thumbs and interlock fingers around stem like praying full tuck elbows sitting down when trying to fight wind or aero pos

Of course, the way prescribed in all good cycling manuals.
-
• #1120
if it's insulation means the grips move loose on the top right? is it because you can adjust the grip position during a race?
-
• #1121
More to absorb the shock and relief pressure on my palms... my gloves are cotton cutoffs left over from halloween so they're not the best keeping cold out
the foam does work its way down from hands moving.. once they wear down or when i'm bored will replace foam with tape at some point
would like to do a nocturnal race which was my 1st alley cat years ago
haven't done much since summer just wheeling around with freetime

Then stop setting the pressure way too high in your tyres, it's easier that way.

That gif could be deployed in relation to all his posts.
the best moments happen when I'm on the fly....
hard to capture without a camera man.., even still it would be sketchy trying to stay safe bursting through intersections or threading through cars in traffic
maybe later on into the new year with dryer conditions.... feels pretty limited to hitting top speed when the streets are still full of crud
