Don't do it tommmmmm, setas are cursed (with terrible project threads)
Pffft, wouldn't need a CP thread, I'd have it built in an evening.

74 parallel with a downtube like a drainpipe for added stiffness....
If you aren't used to a low bar position, your neck WILL ache, the human head (even empty) weighs about a stone and your neck won't be used to supporting that weight. It will pass once you've ridden like that a few times and your neck has gained strength.
+1
I was forever raising my road bars before I got used to watching the road at a far closer point, and glancing up to check more distant stuff.Heads are fecking heavy.
Ah, the seta is 73/73.5 with a pretty fat DT.
For an averge size frame 73/73 is about as standard road geo as you can get. The frame isnt overly stiff, or aggressive. IMHO your position is wrong.

I have a 31.6 inline post you're welcome to use to stop this madness.
Listening to Dan, SF,Laner etc would be fairly worthwhile as these guys ride a lot and for a long time.

Just been out to take some pics of it now, while it's all dirty from riding about in the wet this weekend :)

Indra, without going on about it, you're complaining about sore nads and neck and you still have that saddle angle, I give up.
-
• #558
Nah I don't have it like that, I was messing about with different saddles today.
I threw this one back on for the pics because I didn't want to b seen with the charge, I just threw it one, will be re adjusted soon.Don't worry I'm not quite that stupid.
