I genuinely didn't know under 16s could legally work apart from paper rounds and that.

There are limited hours so that it doesn't cause problems in other areas of life, a paper round just happens to be one of those jobs that's only ever part time.

Children's minimum wage is under £4 but there are no laws stopping you from earning more than that.

i started at 15 on the same wage as a runner which is £7 per hour but then i got on the site crew which is £14 per hour. the intense hours mean a decent bit of money after a months work.
