One of our cats has decided she likes to sleep in the middle of the road. Found her there first thing in the morning the last couple of days. It's a quiet street but still, I'd rather she didn't do this. Does any ideas on how to discourage!?

Scare the ever-living fuck out of her every time she does it.

Purchase an air horn.

Will she not associate me with it then though? I don't want to be that knob that makes loud noises to her, although it is more preferable to death..

Cats rarely associate negative outcomes to individuals (spraying water etc) so it's usually fine.

Mileage may vary depending on your cats intelligence.

One time I was struggling to get her in the transportation box to go to the vet I ended up having to catch her in a towel, cocoon her and shove her in. For weeks she would sprint for the hills every time I would grab a towel, but my wife could merrily dangle one in front of her and she wouldn't care.

I think the solution is therefore to get my wife to do it.

makes me miss my cats that pic. Zola would do the same just sit and chill near by occasionally looking up for a bit if fuss, while Flo wouldook from a distance until feeding time then she was all happiness.

Now, how do I explain to the girlfriend not to let the cats lick chocolate off krispykreme dogsnuts.

How do I stop boy cat eating everything, and girl cat being scared and not eating. Boy cat will eat and then throw up undigested/unchewed food. The situation got better for a few months, with girl cat standing up for herself. Suddenly girl cat has lost her appetite and hiding, where usually she would join me to sleep and demand fuss and attention when she wanted. But for a few days this has stopped. She is still active.

try to feed in different locations greedy cat in one place scaredy cat in a different one, for scared cat try to make it quiet and where she wint feel threatened. slowly move together. if cats ain't relaxed they wont eat properly.

Have been doing that, moving food to where girl cat is. Have to keep boy cat entertained as the boy cat is a little fucker for going to steal girl cats food.

Boy cat has also started sleeping on my ankles, if I move in my sleep and awake boy cat. The fucker attacks me as he is frightened, then licks me and it tickles. Going back to sleep in the same place. If I move, he moves to sleep on my ankles.

are they related?

i had brother sister cats -same happens to me , especially the feeding - eventually girl car pasted boy car and everything was fine - as for sleeping on ankles - he aint frightened he knows what he's doing, just gotta be firm and move him off, eventually he'll get sick of being moved off you ankles and sleep on your face.

Chocolate is toxic to cats and dogs (and many other animals). Does she want to kill them?

Yeah sister and brother, and soon to be 2 and we are having a party ;)

Just worried about girl cat as she is the smaller and wayyyyy fluffier (she still has her soft kitten fur) she was more of a grazer and her brother is more of a wolf it down. But in the last half hour she decided to eat some whiskas dentatreats. But not the Royal Canin instinctive cat food.

Concerned if there is something wrong, have spoken to the vet. Vet said to feel her tummy and compare to other cat and see if they feel the same if they are not to bring her in as long as she is still active.

Buzz the boy cat is a bit special. He yowls for attention if he wants company when he naps. By company, the cat likes to have a paw touching skin or wrapped around an arm. Yeah I am controlled by the cat but I sort of like it too.

Yeah, the vet has told her and I've sent vet notices from the internet. Have spoken calmly and shouted. In her world, if it was bad for the cats, the cats wouldn't eat it. It worries me.
