A cat called Ringo has lost (or rather will lose) both legs on his right side due to an accident with (presumed) some form of agricultural machinary, their is a crowd-funder to raise money for him to have a prosthetic rear foot attached by the Super Vet - which will cost a not inconsiderable ten grand. His owners are already 10k down, so this is going to be a 20k total cost for them - astonishing, frankly.
Anyway, the crowd-funder is here, if anyone can chuck a few quid in I'm sure they'd appreciate it: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/ringo
This must be what it feels like to be an American, if of course Ringo was a person.

Poor little bugger :( I've chucked a tenner in, hope he gets the treatment he needs. I know we'd want the same for either of ours.

Do you know the people? It might be worth telling them, if they haven't already done so, to ask a few popular vets on Instgram or whatnot to see if they would post Ringo's story. I fellow a few vets who have 1000s of followers and surly they would help?

My 2 cats managed to get themselves trapped in my bedroom when I was away for the weekend.
Luckily I keep water in there for them. But have have used the large plant pot for my rubber tree as their litter tray (along with a lot of bedding!).
Im sure this is good fertilisation for the plant, but it fucking stinks. any tips/chemicals that I can use to neutralise the odour of cat urine which is now emanating from my room??!

baking soda along with something nature, I can't remember, do a google search.
If you want harsh chemical, there are chociecs of odor spray or something you can buy from Pets at Home or sth...

Any tips on how to blunt my cats claws other than vets visit?
They are very sharp and he’s a lazy fecker so they don’t get much use out n about. -

My guy lets me cut his occasionally, but he has to be in the right mood. I only ever take a tiny bit, and usually leave the back as they get a bit more wear anyway and are more useful for climbing.

scratching posts - i think there are some variants which state they will help with claws - or something more natural like old tree branches - mine used to love scratching that in the garden all the time - especially with a wee bit of cat nip.....

Brilliant.
The result of this evening’s grooming session, after which Dizzy was so heightened that she bit the shit out of me. That’s love for ya.
