  • :D love the nonchalant walk turning into a last minute run up.

  • speaking of catness, from the memes thread

    also this -

  • Saw this on Reddit earlier in the week. The failed jump, half way down, slays me.

  • Count yourself lucky. One of mine cost me £3100 in late summer.

  • click for big pic

The new foster cat, he is getting better but no petting still a bit agro

  • Anyone in se23 fancy a reciprocal cat feeding arrangement? We've got three and they're charmingly mental.

We're actually away this weekend but imagine that's pretty short notice so we're scrabbling around for professional options but very happy to offer our services in turn. My gf loves any cats and any opportunity to play with them!

  • Lets talk, are they affectionate? do they love attention? Do they love fuss?

I'm in SE23 and happy to feed them, PM me and we'll sort it out.

  • Very kind, PM coming.

  • Ha, they're cats. Sometimes they want the affections, at others I'm reasonably certain they're plotting horrible things.

I think we may be sorted for feeding this weekend now, but I am more than happy to leave on record an offer of cat feeding for anyone in the SE23 area or close-ish.

  • Mission failed...

Beard trimmer = tiny bit of buzzing nosie = cat under the bed = human needs to find alternatives.

  • You really can't grab this cat? I used to arm myself with a large tea towel for our really skittish mog and just kind bundle her up in it then slowly and carefully try to expose the required bit of anatomy without accidentally freeing up a claw or tooth.

  • If I have anything in my hands that isnt food, walking towards her, she knows something is up... Mgiht wait a few days then try again, with long sleeves, jumpers, the thickest pants, neck brace, the full works and go to war with her. Her matted fur needs to come out before it get real cold.

  • Possibly of interest to cat lovers:

  • Does that mean Mog is a zombie?

  • Ha - I'm not quite sure the method by which Mog was resurrected.

  • Quite honestly @ExTra, if you can't do it yourself, then you're really better off taking Patch to the vet. It's unlikely they'd have to sedate her/knock her out; most likely a couple of experienced nurses will do the trick. They'll know just how much force to use, without hurting her :-)

  • I will give it a last attempt over the weekend, and if i fail then will speak to the vet again. I also didnt think sedation is needed, but thats what they told me, maybe they thoght the problem wa more awrious then it actually is.

  • hehe

  • Went up to bed last night, noticed a familiar smell as I headed up the stairs, to discover Jack had left a large poo on top of the duvet. Little bastard.

  • is jack your son or your cat ?

  • I only have daughters. Neither of whom have ever shit on my bed.

  • James has a cut above his eye - classic boxing injury for humans, and I suspect he's got it from fighting with Higgs.

I can take him to the vets on Tuesday as they open after work, but should I put him in a cone of shame until then to stop him cleaning the scab off?
