The Cat Thread

I sorted out new insurance for my two.

I called my current provider to cancel and they put me through to their retention team who attempted to change my mind by bad mouthing my new provider. That doesnt work on me because that used to be my job at a car insurance company. Soz mate.

I told him Pet Plan

He said "okay but a word of warning with Pet Plan, they are abismal..." and then went on to tell me how he's with them and his premium has gone up every year because his Lurcher has had loads of vet bills. I basically told him to stop talking and just cancel my insurance.

Why not ask what percentage he gets for everyone that stays.

Proper chuckle at that one. Maybe you should have explained to him how insurance works? As a service-to-the-community sort of thing?

I found out last night I have passed my MA with a merit, not bad at all considering the high standards my course requires. Thanks to Patch and you guys for all the late night distraction and supports. Think the cat deserves a big bowl of treats.

(apols if this has already been gif threaded but it entertained me)

My poor pussycat is limping. She jumps onto the kitchen roof and meows whilst I'm having my morning dump..always has done. Once I'm finished (which is always quicker than I'd like as her winging gets on my tits) I open the window and she jumps the little gap from the edge to the open window...always a smooth as silk transaction.
T'other day I only saw her paws and she disappeared. The poor thing didn't make and fell about 10' onto the clippings below and looked at me all startled.

I ran down stairs and let her in and made a fuss as she was obviously a little traumatised...no swelling and a bit of a limp for a few days but she seems ok now.

Hasn't stopped the little fucker winging though...I'm not ever getting a Havana Brown again!

I'm not surprised those cats look grumpy. Dressing cats up in anything always borders along the lines of cruelty for me.

This new BBC2 series of Cat Watch is interesting.

I had no idea a cat could mimic a bird's song in order to hunt it more effectively. Sneaky!
