  • Ah ok. I have no knowledge of Buffy the Vampire Slayer - I'm too old πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  • More of an angel fan?

In reality your cat, your choice. I would argue for neutering, but at the end of the day your choice.

Any other comments are make such as get them used to a toothbrush is a dentistry cost and cats pain thing, and maybe a harness to go for a walk.

Give them lots of attention remember they are arseholes and angels.

  • You're not that old....

  • I feel old, too old! πŸ˜€

  • I would argue for neutering, but at the end of the day your choice

No choice at all - the cat shelter doesn't let them go out for adoption until they've been snipped. They have a vested interest in trying to stem the flow of unwanted cats, after all.

I would've had her spayed anyway, but it's all dealt with already.

    they are arseholes and angels

I have two kids already, so I'm well versed in that particular dichotomy

  • Just started to do some cat sitting as a sideline income. Mainly cause I want other people to have the same experience I've had with my cats being at ease when I get home( I use to have to travel abroad a lot). My gosh I just want to kidnap all of them. Just came back from hanging out with two Bengals and it is all so much fun. My cats haven't caught on yet thankfully..............

  • Eh that is not a plug for cat sitting services to be clear. Just saying its fun too look after other peoples cats.

  • I get that. I like being around cats

  • Loki has arrived, and settled in very quickly.

  • Is it a good idea to name him Loki?

In our ongoing conflict with the rodents, we need more Loki. Besides, that's his name on arrival. I've never renamed a pet.

  • Cats don't really do words. I never name mine.

  • What do you say when you want to call them?

  • CAT. PSS PSS PSS. PUSSYCAT. FOOOD. WHERE ARE YOOOOO. WHAT ARE YOU DOING.

Actually I hardly need the above because current cat is a Ragdoll and she's usually less than a yard away. She calls me much more than I call her. She has to have her daily ration of tummy rubs. If I stint on them the yelling becomes quite urgent. As if it's a medical emergency.

  • I never name mine.

I was catsitting a couple weeks for somebody that named both of his cats just "cat", kinda freaked me out a little to be honest.

  • Corbyn got aggro from the tabloids for calling his cat Gato.

  • I always refer back to the cat care manual "the unadulterated Cat" by Sir Terry. Never name a cat something you arent comfortable shouting outside at 2am while banging a tin with a spoon.
A fantastic read by the way and i fully recommend.

  • Projected this, Loki mad for the fish.

  • Anyone else’s cat totally obsessed with one person in the family? Tubs has always been my wife’s cat but it’s embarrassing how much she fawns over my wife at all opportunities.

Like, have some self respect. πŸ˜‚
