Exactly.
Nothing better than the two little fuckers going full speed through the apartment. -

He was the best.

You still not got over his triple word score with meow....have you?
The balls of fur, murder MIT's and sharp teeth cause such an explosion when they leave. You never get over it you just get used to them not being there.

That is it. It is a cat thing.

I think Mabel is bored, certainly she knocks things off every surface she can find constantly.
What are some toys and techniques that people have used successfully to get indoor cats to be sufficiently engaged?

Indeed. He was a massive presence that's never gone away really.

Ours quite enjoyed a fabric mouse with catnip inside and a kind of cat football which was a ping pong ball sized thing with a woven surface and a feather sticking out of it.

We figured the step up to the cat flap was too high so temporarily put some compost bags on the step. Went out and came home to find Waily had let himself in! Hooray!

Fussy pants. Great success

Cat being cat, perfect example. Waily is an abandoned street cat..and a fussy panted fur ball.
Glad you have patience with him.

Mine when she moved in with me at the age of 3 months. A year later she still
looks at me with total trust. Has to be near me at all times.

It begins. Fat chance of fitting through here though, ha.
I've also moved the lemon tree there outside ahead of the spring, and she's spent the morning looking at it, wondering when it's her turn

This week we said goodbye to Lily, who we'd been lucky enough to have in our lives for 20 years! She was the best of best cats and adapted so well to an ever changing life of different places and faces. My daughter took her out for a wee ride in a trailer, and in her usual style she just let it all happen around her. The next day, she went to sleep and that was it. π
Rest in peace old girl.
