  • There's a covered area outside by the cat flap so can try there. They dont go out much yet.

Shitting in the neighbours garden is the long term aim. For all of us.

  • Unless your neighbours also have cats in which case, the shitting will eventually even out. 😭

  • Surely you would want to aim for them to shit in someone else’s garden?

Kinda hoping for the park behind our house. THAT IS THE DREAM.

  • Start a campaign for a kids sandpit in the park just over the fence from your back garden.

  • Not your decking?

  • Over the litter tray indoors, I'd take that

  • No worries, she’s happy he’s back too.

It’ll pass, he’s been away a couple of weeks and his sister is probably annoyed that he’s back - siblings rarely get along well imho. She’ll get used it and they’ll go back to tolerating each other.

  • Celeste has transformed into a full on cuddle monster. I'm constantly amazed at how much she eats. She's a tiny little thing and she eats literally twice as much as the recommended amount for her size. I guess she needs the energy to grow the luxurious long fur that she leaves everywhere.

  • So great - that didn't actually take very long! I guess just keep an eye on her weight - cats that have been strays often don't self-regulate their food so well, understandably.

  • Awww celeste looks do happy. Yeah just echo about food regulation lots of strays tend to keep eating what's put in front of them.

  • My cat is a lazy f*cker and like to use our garden as a WC. Id like to move him onto his second prefered option which is a large hedge out front. Internet suggests lots of remedies. Anyone successfully done this?

  • Also interested in the turd business atm, just started letting ours out now the freezing weather is over. Will wait and see what happens but so far he’s come meowing at the door to come in and curl one out in the litter box, the swine.

  • Have also ordered a rfid triggered cat flap in what I hope is a wise move towards the cat taking care of himself if we need to go away somewhere (remember that?) and can’t get someone to catsit for us.

  • Our boys are getting big now. Nearly 6 months old and currently still best friends
They sleep like this most days
A hug turns into a headlock, mutual washing turns into biting then they run laps around the house after one another until they’re worn out and the process repeats

  • Looks like the one on the right is caught by a ghost cat!

  • Brilliant I love it when cats have a mad 15mins just going full pelt arround the place

Our two are big cats - 5Kg + and when they do this it sounds like the place is being wrecked. Would much prefer it if they did this outside...

  • Diz is almost 12 now, weighs 6.2kg and has developed arthritis in her front legs which makes her limp a bit. Seeing as she jumps up and down the garden fence which is six feet high we think we’ve found the cause, so meanwhile she’s on meds for the stiffness and tomorrow I shall be in the garden to cut a hole in the panel fence so she can get into the scrub beyond out wee yard and explore and poo without injuring herself further. There’s not much I can do about the stairs or the fact that our bed is about 2.5 feet off the floor so she struggles to get on and off it, at night she just meows and waits to be lifted up or down, but otherwise she’s coping well. She’s due for some X-rays next week which means a general anaesthetic which I’m not at all keen on for her because of her age - 12 is old for a Coonie , but it’s gotta be done. Meanwhile she’s taking it well enough for now.

  • Our little guy went outside yesterday and didn’t come back as expected. So far he hasn’t been away for very long at a time, always checking in with us every few hours and then indoors overnight. Possibly been chased off by some other cat, there’s lots of them around here. Hope he turns up today, kids are quite worried...

  • ...and he’s back. Promptly took a huge dump in the litter tray because why crap outside, ate a bowl of food and is now snoring in a chair.

  • Muff my 12 year old Tom is not feeling well. He's sneezing a fair bit, very lethargic, doesn't seem very interested in anything, isn't eating or drinking much....

Vet tomorrow. Fingers crossed it's a cold or infection....

  • Yay. Always a worry when they disappear, even for a while.

  • Fingers crossed he's OK and just a simple virus/cold. 🤞

  • Thanks. Hope so. He just doesn't seem himself...
