  • I thought you were mixing your own?

I wanna ramp up production, getting a bit bored of doing batches of 15 x 20ml bottles... Think I'm gonna mix one big bottle and then decant that into smaller bottles once it's steeped...

PS GothVape® didn't work out at all, it's going back tomorrow... Think I got a dud...

  • I just bought one of these bad boys for my homie for christmas

    Just sayin'

  • @apollo That's nice! I am a tad jealous...

  • Joe, what base nic do you use and where do you go? I need to get some more. ps. I'm using a Russian 91% tank and it's been stellar for months, holds more liquid than the kayfun too.
Love the Snoop D vape stick!

  • pps, re your shorting coil Joe, you're best off torching the wire with a blowtorch or lighter before you fit the coil, this coats the wire with a small amount of oxidisation which seems to help. I had a bit of a mare making a dual coil work with my tank (kept 'check atomiser'ing on me), but got it working sweet by torching each coil before fitting, now runs 0.6ohms nice.

  • @boags I always torch my kanthal before I wind it, I think it's just the post not making a connection... I don't really need another one, just wanted to go full stealth!

I get my juice stuff from Vaper's Emporium, cheap and quick delivery too... I think the stuff I buy is 72mg straight outta the bottle...

  • hmm, weird. other than being slightly more leak prone, my russian has been sweet on the whole.
cheers for the site, ordered some stock from them.

  • after a while using this tank, I can't fault it at all..

build is excellent, glass is protected, but you can still check the levels and the capacity is huge.

  • I just got an Atlantis, and I have a Mini, and they're both so nice, I might just try the Nautilus as well. I'm also tempted by the Joyetech eGrip when the RBA base is released. I heard good things and after using the iStick for a while, I find it a bit hard to go back to big mods... How does the DNA fares @apollo? Is it that good?

  • @rak500 yep. compact, powerful, usb rechargeable, solid, nice finish etc. bit pricey, but definitely 10x better than a Vamo V5...

One thing is my USB charge port snapped off inside, so now I have to recharge 18650s separately and just swap em out when they run out of power.

I emailed VS and they said they'd fix it for free as I still have 9 months left on the warranty. haven't got round to posting it off to them yet however.

  • The Muji cut cotton is a bit rubbish, I've gone back to cotton balls... Much happier...

  • After trying quite a few methods of stopping smoking, finally vaping has allowed me to quit.

    Hopefully for good!*

Tried patches, cold turkey and Champix but just reducing the nicotine content to zero has done it for me. No real desire to use the eCig either unless I'm drinking with friend who still smoke.

    • Apart from tomorrow when I'll be smoking my customary cigars for NYE
  • edit: sold to the gent below

  • I'll buy them (Texted you @apollo )

  • cheers^

  • Best source for 18650 batteries? I've been using AW IMR 2000mAh cells and a couple have started being a bit iffy, cutting out etc... Everywhere seems to be out of stock...

  • Get batteries here:

    http://ukvapers.org/Thread-Torchy-battery-prices

You just pick what you want from the price list, send him the dosh on PayPal with a note on what you want and your address. They turn up in the post 2 days later. The 30A Sony ones are VTC4's, which are good. The 30A Samsung's have slightly higher mAh if that's your thing. Both are great in a mech or regulated mod.

  • Nice... Cheers, Ben!

  • Hmmm...

  • Is 3.3v reasonable? What's an off-the-shelf cheapo (like the one I got from Aaron) do?

  • 3.3v is rather low.
4v to 4.2v is normal battery level for almost any charged e-Cigs. The article does mention 5v as a problematic voltage, and it was already known that high temperatures do create formaldehyde and acrolein which are very carcinogenic. But this problem only occurs when the voltage is far too high, like 5v, or when the resistance or the ecig are faulty, but it really tastes awful so if it doesn't taste "caramelized" or burnt, you should be fine.

  • setup was vaping extra well today for some reason... Sweet spot seems to be 10.5W
