"I also wish to rep Apollo and Lynchman but I should nerg them to keep balance in the world..."
What I've got to do, you can't be any part of. Indra, I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that. Here's looking a Campy...

What about mountain biking?
should be mountain-cycling.

Cycling can be anywhere which is why it's such an awesome term and renders all else redundant.
I you said you'd gone 'carring' anyone would think you were very special.

Cycling is OK, but biking makes you, like, cool and shit.

If we're talking about biking terms you hate, then nothing gets me riled quite like 'miler'.
If you hear it, you can almost be 100% certain that it's some god awful, Bike Radar reading nodder MAMIL boasting about that 'cheeky 30 miler' he put in on Sunday. The ride was probably used to evaluate the vertical compliance of his new bottle and the lateral stiffness of the new giant saddlebag he just got from Evans or something.
I've never heard it once used by someone I would consider a decent rider or attached to a number that would be considered anything other than tame by anyone that spends any time at all on a bike.

For starters "mileage" i.e. distance should be measured in kilometres...

Soft cheese.

The one thing I hate considering 'biking terms' is when people say you can go further with gears and a freewheel.........I forgot you can only ride fixed untill it forces you to stop at a certain point and you can't go any further till the next day.

Fahrenheit is stupid but it's just not practical to change to KM when everyone knows miles ad everything is signposted with miles.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
How wide is a track chain?
What size headset does your dolan take?
What's the pitch of your cogs?
Imagine how confused everyone would be if it changed. -

Kph is only confusing to those who don't use it. I don't break down in tears when I see a signpost in imperial.

Gators are fine... They dont pu**ture often. But they are slippery as anything! Such a hard compound in the cold and wet is always interesting.
-
• #399
They're ugly though init lets not deny that. I love them as much as most of the skiddars on here but i'd be way more happy if i could run a veloflex for the same time as a hardshel
