as a kid I had epilepsy
Sorry to say, but this is the sort of thing you should make clear to the ride leader/organiser beforehand. I know you weren't expecting it to kick in or affect you, but noone could have known that beforehand. That is not just the case of HTFU, that is a medical condition.
Not sure how organised this ride is considered in the eyes of the law, but from both parts, better safe than sorry.

no no i know.
i personally dont think it had anything to do with that. i think ive just slipped on the surface and taken a tumble.i havent been on medication for a good 10+ years so its come out of nowhere.
i didnt even remember about it all, it was me dad who told the doctors when they rung him. will have to consider it though now come further testing -

Was just saying, because from some of the LCC protest rides I've been on, the ride leader is the law, and if you are not cycling between him or the last marshall you are legally your own responsibility.
For example when we crossed a junction and someone stopped the traffic to make sure everyone got through OK, that was a good move, but if something went wrong the first question would be: "are you allowed to stop traffic?". No. just as the bus wasn't on Friday when B0N0R got hit. If you are on an properly organised ride, marshalls wear special clothes and have signed paperwork in advance.
I know this is the "fuck you cycling" ride, but still, its good to be aware and have eachother's backs.

Oi pooface, cycling tomorrow? You're not answering your phone. I'm going out anyway but it would be nice to have company.

Might sound a bit gay but if we all buddy up with someone of similar speed/ability we can make sure we're not left back alone.
