I've never been up Ditchling, or cycled to Brighton for that matter. Is it really that bad?

its alright, just get some comfy shoes to walk in as I did.

Most people walk it the first time fixed. It's not really bad, would be a doddle with gears.

I find the traffic is what makes it difficult...

I hit ditchiling yesterday, made a new personal best of about 300m from the first rise!

It's the mile of uphill before that gets me, almost impossible to take any speed into the climb...

I fucking love Ditchling.

I just noticed that Apollo has (for reasons I know not) changed Dom to Pom. Had a real shock - thought my missus (also Pom*) was on the list.

*she does have a nice old steel mixte bike

Dom could change 'apollo' to 'adollo' in revenge.

Hang on, it is already 'a polo', so maybe he got there first.

It seems at some point Apollo has gone through and changed the name of everybody on the list. What a guy :)
