I can just pay myself to sit in a corner and look in a mirror.

Come to think of it, you will need a carer and all.

plus she really like hanging out at pubs.
Excellent. I've raised my children in pubs too.

Registration is closed and lady moog missed the boat, will she get away with tagging along anyway?
Roads won't be closed... Guess she can cycle where and when she wants ;-)
Just turning up is Not OK. Really. Someone mentioned doing this last year, The 'cobblemonster' was not happy, for good reasons which he or she elucidated for us: basically - please don't turn up unregistered as it might mean we can't carry on doing it in future - was the gist of it.
Email the cobblemonster and ask nicely to be on a reserve list, or if Moogette could perhaps earn a place by helping out?

Thanks Skully, email was sent earlier today. I thought that might be the case, good to know what the situation is.
Also if anyone one here can't make it please PM me and maybe she could take your place. Reimbursement/an additional donation will of course happen.
Thanks

more beer or tea stops ain't a bad thing.
it's a 30 odd mile ride which at pootling pace is 3 hours, she'll be right.
she is 1 and a bit.
plus she really like hanging out at pubs.
It was 52 miles last year, not 30! Or 57? Can't actually remember. A 2 looks a bit like a 7 so my brain has conflated them.

on the site is says last year was 35.4.

Bizarre. I definitely remember it as being 50-odd. A search on Strava turns up rides of anything between 30 and 50. One guy recorded 37. Maybe my brain has conflated 3 and 5? They do look the same, after all.

Factor in home to gypsy hill and back as well, I did +60 miles last year.
Still worth it, just to see dropout's face when he collected that frame..Ha

they're all numbers.
lets settle on, including riding to and back, somewhere between 30 and 60!

GPX route from last year attached as a zip file - not sure if this will work or not..
Or look here:
http://app.strava.com/activities/6281446I clocked up 38.2 miles and only live a mile or so from the route so 36 seems like a good guess at the overall

Already have a cape. At least I call it cape. It may actually be a poncho, technically.

If in doubt as to why not - please watch The Incredibles.

Anyone who has missed out on registering: there were DNSers last year, and I picked up an entry from someone who couldn't make it, a quick exchange of emails with the friendly cobblemoster and hey presto, it was my name on the start sheet when I arrived at the pub.
This year I shall not be on the very red bike. Nor shall I wear my cape.

Am bringing 3, and not on the list. Can't wait for more ice cream at the city farm.
I think Indra is looking for a job in childcare...
