Indra ripper: I know Oliver already said this but be ready to walk down the Alpe de Canonbie descent: the road at the bottom is busy, a blind corner and it's steep right down to the give way line. I personally found it almost impossible to stop last year with a front brake and fixed.

Yes, I'll certainly be walking it, irrespective of whether I'll be geared or fixed.

I'll just whispskid the whole way down because I'm a badass.

I would probably need to walk anyway because the only brake I can fit is a clamp on, unless bring the MTB.

Boo I can't make this year, shame would have liked to have seen Dropout on last years prize bike. It is a great ride and BBQ, beer and bike racing on TV afterwards, quadruple win.
