Nah. I'm happy with the Henchness of the K710. If I change to anything, I might try out the HKK Vertex Blue.
I've used 1mm chainring bolt spacers behind the chainring so I can use the Steel double ring bolts I had. This also has the benefits of matching my 44mm Paul chainline better and making a nice smooth transition between chainring and spider.
Happy days.

Awesome, really nice combo is the black omniums and black zen. I bet it suits this really well.

combining a gloss black crank with a matte black chainring doesn't work for me if you just look at the detailed picture

When I ran the Zen on the Omniums, I always planned on getting the cranks powder coated matte black (like reeen did).
I'm sure there will be at least one matte black project at Armourtex soon Rob, perhaps you could chuck them in.

The matt and gloss are fine IRL. The black Omnium ring that I replaced is matte finish too.

Had an opportunity to sneak out of the office before lunchtime and decided to take some cheeky hipster snaps while I was out. I think it's finished now. No doubt I'll want to spend more money on parts somewhere down the line. The first thing I need to find time to do is chop a centimetre or two off the steerer and slamdatstemâ˘.

Saw it in CP,
Kudos on the Build must feel stiff because aluminum frame yes?
never had a chance to ride anything but steel and CF track framesDidn't really enjoy aluminum geared road bike.
Awesome none the Less

Cheers man. I'd love to see you build up an Alu frame and record a video of you pounding around the streets on it!
It rides really well. The clearances are so tight, but zipping around the city is a dream on it. So responsive.
I only have two Alu frames at the moment, but am yearning for steel for a future project.

That's because, steel is reel, didn't you get the memo?
