  • So, so nice but when will a small frame/bike come around in one of these sweet raffles?

  • This looks damn fine Apollo!

  • Y u no put more pictures you big tease?

  • soon ;)

  • Nice work. They both look awesome.

  • Thanks Ben..

Do people think it will be easier to sell £10 tickets or twice the amount of £5 tickets?

  • £10

  • £5. You are still going to raise the same amount or possibly more by opening the opportunities up to more people. If people want to spend more they can haz moar tickets innit blud.

  • set a target and people are more likely to buy.

  • This -

£5. You are still going to raise the same amount or possibly more by opening the opportunities up to more people. If people want to spend more they can haz moar tickets innit blud.

    And this -

set a target and people are more likely to buy.

    Works for KickStarter projects.

  • Yeah, a set target means your ticket maintains its value.

  • Pile it high, sell it cheap: none of the bikes fit me, but I'd throw a fiver in just for the cause; a tenner's a bit strong just for goodwill.

  • set a target and people are more likely to buy.

I see your point, but shouldn't it be "sky's the limit" ? I'm banking on people taking the opportunity to give £5/£10 without even wanting the bike, because at the end of the day, if they win, they can sell the bike!

Whether they then chose to donate those monies is their choice...

  • Yeah, it's a tough one. But I think if you set a optimistic target, then try to reach it, you encourage donations in order to get there. Then if you go over, it's a bonus. The sky is still the limit, but there's a fixed target to motivate the donations and stop them fizzling out because of everyone's expectations differing..

  • 100 tickets at £10?

Might sound optimistic but with enough coverage it should be possible.

  • You covered all that sweet chrome?
