  • If this sort of thing carries on like it has, the name 'LFGSS' will soon be mud.

  • Indra you are nuts.

    Was there doubt?

  • Yeah made it back just in time after a solo TT 17mph av. effort. Quite shattered now. Have just eaten everything.

  • Very much up for joining you once I've managed to acquire an 18t freewheel. Last CX season managed to destroy my White Industries...

  • That top photo is a cracker Howard!

That really is the most picturesque area of the entire forest.

  • Average speed 8.0 mph!

    Quite something :-)

  • Hammer well and truly down, obvs.

  • Lovely photos!! Loved that part of the woods. I need to find a way of making markers during a ride on the garmin so I can return to those pretty spots an do some photography.

  • ^ I can stick some markers on a google map to show you where that area is.

I took this near there about seven years ago.

    Thanks Howard. That's perfect.

  • How easy is it to get to Epping Forest from Central London? I fancy coming along when I'm back in Reading.

  • Real easy, if you come on one of the rides I'm on you can follow me on a real easy route.

  • central line to buckhurst hill / loughton or overland from liverpool street station to chingford

    pretty straight forward

  • Oh, on the train...

  • I'd be happy to ride from central to save additional train fare dorrah, how far is it?

  • My route is only about 13 miles from regents park.
