^ Bringing the Spearfish?
Want going to......I'll try to keep that for when my ankles need it!
As with Howard's Nobby Nics, I'd be keen to know how these get on in the current Epping conditions.
I'd quite like a list of what works best around there, for future reference.
I've done a fair bit of research, and these seem to be what I want....I could only get wired bead though....hopefully they will set up tubeless ok.
Not sure if I'll be there......I'm still cleaning the cooker for brownie points! Including yesterday, itS 7 hours and counting!

^ 2nd person in thread who prefers to do housework to riding bikes
priorities are all wrong in here :(
-
• #1407
Do not prefer........!
I'm trying to raise the required amount of brownie points, so that when I mention the 60 or so of us going to France snowboarding, over the dates of her birthday, she won't go doo lally tat on my arse.
I've got to fix the clutch on my camper too......I've done some of the elimination jobs, but still have another couple to do before finding out if I need to pull the fucking engine. Do not want!
And my mum's roof needs checking, but as that is in waltham abbey, I might be able to meet up.....and then the school chores later this evening! Not enough hours, etc......

Ok, I'm leaving in 5 minutes.
Due to my own technical defeciencies, I will not see anything posted on the forum after that :-)

Thanks for turning up today everyone. Nice to see some new faces, as well as the now familiar ones. It was rather slippery today, but you all acquitted yourselves admirably.
@dicki - glad you managed to get the bike working well enough to get home.
@stedlocks - sorry we missed you. Hopefully next time.
@Howard - hope you left your card at home. I still have your new stem :-/
@malandro - you have a badger invite coming your way.
I'm knackered now, so I plan to shortly put myself into a pizza coma :-)

Ohhh since when did you have a GPS recording doobry?

Stuff is actually lost - annoying but hey could be worse.
Stem - bugger! When you next in town?
-
• #1416
Gutted to miss out.....I was about half a mile from you lot!
At least my mum's roof is fixed......I had the bike in the van, gear on, and was going to have a blast on the way home, when this happened..
On top of all the other stuff I have to do, another job! My beavers turned up though....after I've adjusted the camper's clutch, I hope to mount them up tonight!

Not long now. Hopefully it will help my failing memory, where routes are concerned :-/
Stuff is actually lost - annoying but hey could be worse.
Arse.
Stem - bugger! When you next in town?
Not until around new years. Probably easiest to PM me an address where I can post it to.

Sorry :-(
Another time mate. Though probably not until the daylight starts to come back.

No worries :0)
On another note, the wired beavers have gone on tubeless, with a strip of gorilla tape and a no flats rim strip.... They are a nice size for a 2.0, but feel really grippy/draggy on the Tarmac..... They are a mud tyre though, and hopefully will scrub in a bit.
Very light too! -

^ Where are all the euphs?
You've posted about your new beavers and not had the common courtesy to throw in a few euphs.
I am disappoint :-(

• #1425
Ok....
Look at how chunky these beavers look! I can't wait to get them wet....And look at the gap around this beaver!
It's huge!
That's the one.
See you there!
