Didn't want to create a new thread for Kinesis so bumping this one. Does anyone have any experience with the CrossPro 6 Disc? In October I am moving back home, 30 miles away from my work place and will need a solid commuter with discs and mudguards, the CrossPro looks pretty much perfect for my needs. I would buy the frameset though, not the complete bike.
You mean the crosslight pro 6?
Never heard a bad word said about them. Building one up for the wife as a cross race rig - looks rad so far. Just wish madison would get some CX75 brakes in so I can finish the thing off...

Hmmmmmm This makes me tempted just to get the cross pro 6 and forget about mudguards...

Curiously it will take mudguards. But I doubt you'd get anything bigger than 30mm in there with guards on. But I've never tried, so who knows.

It will be immensely rad when it's finished.

Although I'd much prefer Sram then Shimano and I CBA building it... Oh first world problems aye

It will be SRAM - that's silver Rival on it. Crank will be Rival with single Thorn ring on it. Rear mech SRAM X9 type ii. Stans Iron Cross with Mich mud ii tubeless. A beast!
Only going for the Shimano brakes as they are lighter and cheaper than standard BB7s yet work just as well. Apparently.

Has anyone tried fitting tyres larger than 28mm to a Racelight T2? Any luck?
Exactly, which is why I want a cross. That looks good by the way.
I want the fat tapered head tube of the cross and I assume the geo is a bit more aggro, I've not yet had a chance to look. And definitely has bigger clearances. And smooth welds.
