RIP sweet, sweet Baby Blue fixie...

  • Right, so the candyapple electric blue didn't work out, this has no connection to me taking off the top layer of paint while flatting down between coats of laquer, I wouldn't be that stupid..... A different colour it must be if I want a gloss finish. The only colour I can think of that is more cliched and hackneyed than baby blue is gold, every gold frame is greeted here with howls of derision.

    GOOOOLDFINGERRRR!!!

    Gold it is, then.

  • Goffffffinnngggeeerrrrr

  • Goffffinnngggeeerrrrr!!!!

    Shiny, tacky, glittery bling.....

Actually, not so bad for a £60 powdercoat with a £20 clearcoat courtesy of the guy who does my car bodywork, thus preventing me fucking it up a second time. Difficult to photograph, I'll do a better job in the studio when I build it up.

Upload fail, temper lost, will try again tomorrow....

  • Bling, bling.

  • Strong look Colin. Strong look.

  • I really hope you're going to ride it attired in full Run-DMC gear..

  • Full Mr T or GTFO.

  • Finally got the bloody thing built up and even took it for a ride, I decided on the heights of Romney Marsh (there are several vicious drain covers and some testing hump-backed bridges). After a year out injured 30 odd miles has suddenly become a lot further and a really comfortable saddle less so......

All that glisters is not Goff.

  • Are those chrome Record Pista cranks? Or just really well polished? Shiny!

  • Polished. A lot (see page 1).

  • Love it! Where did you get the decals from? I'm going to get my Goff resprayed this year.

  • Just give Steve Goff a call, he'll sell you a set for about £20.
