• It's for a bike I specifically bought the less appealing colour of.

  • I use Powertap mobile on my iPhone every now and again to record rides when I haven't got my Garmin with me. It looks as though Training Peaks have turned off the link between the two now with their recent api changes.

Any other ios apps I could use that records GPS and Power and uploads to Training Peaks ? Alternatively, any way I can pull the data from Powertap mobile to manually upload to Training Peaks ?

  • Any fairly hardcore users of WKO3 switched to WKO4 not any drawbacks or negatives?

I see they've added a load of new metrics which is whatever, but I'm talking about day to day usage - is anything like PMC fucked up now. Can I do everything in WKO4 I could in WKO3?

  • Would anyone be interested in a SRAM SRM chainset? Force 22 arms, tasteful stealth SRM spider graphics. 130bcd.

  • If you're giving it away, sure. :)

  • Would need at least some beer tokens for it :)

  • 4 for 5 Fosters

    Sorted.

  • If anyone is after cheap power, I'm splitting my turbo biek: 10 speed Shim/SRAM wired PT Pro c/w all the gubbins (inc two head units): £125 shipped.

You can also have a "not safe for road use" front wheel to prop the other end of the bike up.

  • length and price, could be interested...

  • I could be into it as well.

  • 172.5

Going rate seems to be £650ish

This one is just back from calibration, new battery and new seals.

  • Felt some slight radial play in one of my Garmin Vector 2's today - has any one experienced this? The pedals are only a couple of months old and have mainly been used indoors so far.

There is isn't loads of play but just a slight feeling of a notch at the top of some of the pedal strokes but it doesn't seem to effect power readings.

Not sure what to think really. Should a £600+ pedal be a bit better than that or is it just normal and always going to happen to any pedal? Wondering whether I should continue on with them or not think about a replacement/refund whilst still relatively new...?

  • I had play out of the box on my three month old Powertap P1's. Not getting worse, don't notice it when pedalling, and doesn't seem to effect power readings.
I'll probably send them back before the warranty runs out to get sorted at some point (if it doesn't get worse before then)

  • Chaps,

    I have a Power2Max S version. It's coupled to a Rotor 3D+ crank system and looked at via a Garmin Edge 520.

Question is I have it set to show L-R balance is this considered to be accurate? sometimes my legs can be out by as much as 8% (54-46) according to the readings.

I do have uneven leg strength exacerbated by a Patela twinge last November which is only just receding.

  • It pretty much guestimates the value based on the position of the crank arm.

    I wouldn't worry about it.

Vous avez les pictars? Need something SRAM for a Bristol bound project, and it's hurting my wallet right now.

  • Looks like this but the goofy red / white graphics have been replaced by the grey / black swirl - which looks infinitely better.

  • How new do they look? I am aware that that is a normally ridiculous question, but these would be going on a bike that is new in all other regards, and will be photographed.

On my Powertap P1's (measuring each leg separately) my l/r balance can be similar at lower power outputs. Around FTP and higher though I'm pretty much 50/50

I wouldn't worry about it, just be glad you didn't buy a single leg power meter

  • If you moved the spider on to another pair of brand new Force 22 crank arms - that I have - it would look minty

  • BB30 axle?

  • Nope. The spider might fit the BB30 version of the crank arms though. Might :)

  • I will endeavour to find out.

  • FSA Powerbox looks a hell of a deal. It says it's only left only at the moment until the firmware upgrade in the summer.

Does this means it's a glorified Stages until then?

  • Left only ?! Isn't it just a re-branded Power2max ?
