Thats big for Nibali

• #1853
Kwiatowski only a minute or so down.

Fucking exciting. But story of the day:
-
• #1855
One of the more memorable Tour stages!
-
• #1856
Best TDF in years so far. We've had a mini LBL and a mini Paris Roubaix now, and Nibali has ridden like a boss in both of them.
It's awesome because it's true!
What a day, though.

Even if he hadn't fallen off twice in the first half of the race, Froome's wrist would have been wrecked by the end of that.
-
• #1859
Yeah. I think we'll come to find that he was essentially out yesterday.
-
• #1860
Joke pace. Ninety four miles in the time it takes me to ride half that on better surfaces. Exhausted watching it.
-
• #1861
Epic, I'm so happy
-
• #1862
Astonishing ride by Nibali. Just what the race needs with Froome out, he's the man to beat and everyone has a large deficit to make up. Roll on the next 2.5 weeks!
-
• #1863
Question: did Froome go down on Monday too? When the peloton cane past me in Epping forest, he was off the back and being paced back on. Just wondering if he crashed three days in a row?
-
• #1864
Yes. First Dutch stage win since 2004.
That's incredible
-
• #1865
What is Oleg going to tweet now?
-
• #1866
Do we think Nibs can win it now?
Stay in yellow from the 2nd stage all the way to the bitter end?
-
• #1867
It depends how well he is TT-ing. I think he can limit his losses in the mountains.

By the time the tt stage comes he'll be way over the tt specialists

Mind boggles

He's got options with Fuggles in 2nd place. Tres excitant-with his form going into the Tour I hadn't expected him to feature much-even getting the jersey seemed to be a token gesture to appease Vino.

Porte has ridden himself into contention. Not many GC guys ahead of him, the mountains will clear out most of the names. Kwiatoski sitting pretty too, Talansky little bit further back. Contador is going to have to go for in the hills. Valverde a loser today too.
Fucking fantastic racing.

• #1872
I like Porte, I want him to do well now he isn't working for Froome
-
• #1874
Porte and Talansky are going to be exciting to watch. And of course, Contador will have to be entertaining now.

Fucking hell Terpestra looks good, did he have a shower already?
Bed time
