  • Cyclingnews ticker is indicating he may have a bit of a poorly wrist. Bet he can't wait for tomorrow's cobbles

  • It's the bang on the left hand side of his arse that's likely to cause most concern.

  • i thought aussies were sposed to be well 'ard?

Who are those two dildos in front? Ban em. Almost premeditated...

Go on, push me, now!?...got im

  • Same side he smashed up in the Dauphine. He is going to get duffed up on the cobbles, every fucker will be scenting blood. It will be mayhem I tell you. Tomorrow I'm on the vodka from early. Stage 5 will run red with his blood

  • ^^ This. If the wrist hurt dead leg with your knee.

  • Blimey Jimmy...

  • He is going to get duffed up on the wet cobbles, in a side/tailwind every fucker will be scenting blood.

There will be splits for sure.

  • did a tourmaker stint on Eastway just before it swung into the olympic park. whoever was on the bridge must have had an awesome view!
managed to view the end on the big screen......
and who was the bloke in the red beret riding fixed who had to take a picture of my uniform?

  • I see his bouncers are back. Where did they slink off to?

  • There will be splits for sure.

Crosswinds, cobbles, rain, the slaughter will be long and glorious. Tomorrow should be incredible.

Froome was off the back yesterday when they came past. He just looked little. Good to be reminded that these people are humans. Hope he's not too badly banged up in all honesty.

  • I am conflicted. I don't feel as happy about Froome falling off as I thought I would have. Maybe I do have some love for the guy after all.

  • Still look on the bright side - Froome has now given Rapha a complete re-design of their mesh panels - Now with even more breathability built in ... but still rather pricey....

  • Thank god someone posted that, I've been trying to find it!

  • tomorrow's cobbles today

  • Christ. How many kms do they have to race on that for?
Also why all the animosity towards Chris Froome. Is he not very well liked?

  • Froome wont enjoy those with a bad wrist...

  • Back at work today and coming down from an epic weekend in Yorkshire, what a show, what an atmosphere and a great chance to meet some forum faces.

Saturdays spot was at the top of the Cote Du Cray, along with about 5000 other cyclists!

  • Christ. How many kms do they have to race on that for?

    9 secteurs, a 15.4km total. see http://www.letour.fr/le-tour/2014/us/stage-5.html

  • Immediately following Froome's crash there was this too on Izagirre's bike, something came loose or snapped:

  • Saboteurs!?

    Looks like stem failure?

  • Stem or steerer.

  • I am conflicted. I don't feel as happy about Froome falling off as I thought I would have. Maybe I do have some love for the guy after all.

I don't think anyone, regardless of their views on Froome, wishes that he lose the Tour through a random crash.
