“Bobby Julich said to me last year, ‘You’ll win this race one day!’ And then I’ve come out and done that so it’s pretty cool.”
RIDE:* Have you heard from Bobby?*
Porte: “He sent me a text with a picture of his [Paris-Nice] trophy from 2004 and a note to say, ‘Welcome to the club’. That’s so Bobby (Julich)Not the best thing for Porte to say

No, the best thing was "I felt like a bit of a wanker in the #1 bib".

But check out those aero shoulders...
Rucksacks are useless to him though

Pope race??
ooh that would be ace
Can't believe the selfish bastard Italians moved M-SR back a blooming day too
We may as well start talking about it: difficult to see past Sagan winning it. Cannondale will be working very hard for him, to counter any attacks, perhaps using Moser as his wingman. The threat from Sky should come from either G or EBH, but they need to be better than they were on Stage 6 T-A. Niblles has laid down a huge marker, Cancellera will be in the mix, can Gerrans defend his crown?
Ooof, bring on Sunday

I think it's a good move. I'm racing saturday and doing coursework sunday.
I'll be able to sit on my lardy arse with a great excuse to ignore my work.Sagan might not win. But canondale will get the stick like GB in the Olympic games.

This is true: so hard to see anyone winning past him, the entire peloton may collaborate to beat him.
Not that it will work

Oh dear, a French MP has said on his Facebook page that he was returning to his hotel room near Munich airport on Monday night and a completely pissed and barely able to stand up Andy Schleck was failing to get the lift to work. :(

Chronically depressed human turns to drink.
News? No.People do need to leave him alone to try and sort his life out, he's obviously got a real mental problem going on.

^that
It's gone on too long for it to be funny now, clearly some major underlying issues besides just not preparing properly for the season.

Gerrans was crook wasn't he? Gossy will win for sure. His string of seconds was just to throw everyone off the scent. The bunch will mark the shit out of Sagan and Cancybaby, letting Moser, Goss, Cav and a couple of others get a gap. Cav will have a fist fight with Degenkolb with 500 to go and Gossy will walk it. You mark my words.

granted i'm not a pro athlete but i've been drunk in public at least once before and it wasn't a sign of clinical depression or a nervous breakdown.

A repeat of Tchmil's '99 win (not by him obviously) is what I would like to see....classiest win ever!
Looks like the inside of the Death Star, or Space 1999, or Star Trek or something.
