strong team, good tactics, even if Moser would have cracked in the last climb Sagan would have hit it home.
Enjoyed the scenery immensely again though. God do I hope the L'Eroica lottery is kind to me this year... fingers crossed
Yep. When are we meant to be hearing from them? Is it being decided today? Fingers crossed and maybe I'll see you in Gaiole :)

I think the draw is today, would expect to hear from them early this week. There's a L'Eroica thread as well for this & previous years to get in the mood
Impressed by (a young French rider and) Lieuwe Westra today, hope he does well in Paris-Nice. Wilco Kelderman surely is one to look out for in the coming years. And the first 'Euro races GC contenders' real race' this season for Gesink.
Love it, come on spring (the only feeling missing so far)

Strade was great, Moser good for the win but Sagan so powerful distancing that group on the last climb. P-N prologue so short. Giro de Lazio ace

Kadri's lucky his team's choice of shitty Fiat grouppo didn't stop his attack in its tracks.

Are many of the 1 day races run without radios?
Kadri's stealth-break win today was pretty amusing. I'm sure most of the peloton didn't know he was up the road.

Also welcome back France.
Proof the "deux vitesse" days are over :P -

Where can I see decent hilights of strade? I don't mean last five mins / km

Did you fail to notice his Campagfailo setup shed its chain when he was off the front?

Proof the "deux vitesse" days are over :PI don't know about that, those Frenchmen seem to be a lot faster than everybody else.

Great weekend of racing and bold attacks coming off.
Moser starting to look like the absolute business. I'm sure he owes Sagan some help after that.

It was bouncing all over the place on the cobbles but I didn't see it actually shed

On Sunday when for a 40 mile ride at high intesity, then re-watched Strade and enjoyed it all the more the second time round. Really would have liked to watched the whole 5 hours. Then Paris-Nice prologue: dull, 2.9kms through tight streets, seems a silly way to open such a good race.
Then Roma Maxima, awesome racing again, Gadri very impressive.
At some point during that I watched something called football. It was a mistake. I won't do it again

Poor setup - mechanic error. Get back in your box, troll :P

#shimanotrollingWhen you have to reach down on a descent to finger your chain back where it belongs you're either a shit mechanic or riding Campy.
I guess he should be thankful that with his powerful ride his cranks didn't snap.

The only mechanic error was fitting Campag.

He'd helped Sagan win the GP Camiore on Thursday, so they are even for now.

Mrs Brave was crapping herself as we watched this. To be honest I did think we were going to see a horror show at one point.
