what was that little chat about?

Cat and Mouse Costa
-
• #3680
He called him a cunt.

what was that little chat about?
"Quanta costa?" ;)

"Why'd you stop?"
"Fuck you"
"I'm gonna win"
"I did your mother" -
• #3683
Ha!
What fun -
• #3684
Looked like Rodriguez sprinted for the wrong line?
-
• #3685
Great finish. Costa was always going to win. He made Purito look tiny. Pleased to see Nibs off the podium after the help he received to get back on. Seven and a half hours in the saddle - fuck me dead. Anybody who finished is absolutely nails.

Looked like Rodriguez sprinted for the wrong line?
Don't think so. Just gave it all he had left and knew he was beat.

Bracing for the Lampre WCS kit and Merida adverts from hell in 2014

Rui Costa... a formidable 2013 for him.

Ouch. Looks like just missing out again really hurt Rodriguez this time.
Good win by Costa, really played the game just right in the last few k's.

Only 57 out 208 completed the race... That must be a world record for the world championships?
-
• #3692
That was savage. 5 or so hours in a downpour, loads of climbing, slippy as fuck by the looks of it

61 finishers on ProCyclingStats. Voekler, Kelderman and Gautier came in 15mins down.

• #3694
^^ 7hrs20 more like!
-
• #3695
^^Sorry, didn't stick around long enough... However, chapeau to the guys for finishing unlike Team GoodBye. I almost find it disgraceful, in lack of a better word, that not a single British rider completed the race.
-
• #3696
Lynchman why?
It was a hard day at the cycling coalface, why no vitriol for the other nations riders who didn't finish? Begrudging credit to British riders when they do well, but obviously they are not as good as your heroes of old. Scathing denouncement of them when they do badly.
It was a hard day, lots of riders got off today, I'm assuming most saw no point in continuing on a day which was treacherous when the chance for glory had gone. Others didn't. Get off your high horse and back down to cycling reality.

I'd love it if someone could tell me how many British riders finished in 1993 and who they were.
-
• #3698
The rot set in when they accepted that Sky sponsorship. Now they don't ride if they can't see it.
-
• #3699
^^100% of those that started.

• #3700
Who were they?
Oh god
