He led for a long time, then went early. Moreno and Henao waited, then hit out in the last 150 metres.
I think Betancur held on for third - brave effort going from that far out.

Sorry if wrong place to ask, but does anyone here watch via the usual streaming sources on an iPad? If you do, is it a case of using a Flash workaround browser like Puffin or something?
Moreno looked fresh when he went - nothing like having something to prove, and being gifted a chance to prove it.
Crowd seemed to have less spatial awareness on the Mur than in previous years :/

You can watch some streams on ipad. Depends on hosting sites formatting.
Often they stream through youtube, so you can watch on ipad. Or the gazzeta using a format that works too. -

Gilbert went later and finished 15th... I would think he knows that climb better than most

Sagan finishing in that top 20 is still massively impressive; beating 57kg climbers like Slagter

^1cm shorter than me, but more than 10% lighter.
i) That's not healthy in the longterm.
ii) I'd have fucking beaten him up that climb too. -

Hell of a ride by Dan Martin after changing a wheel and racing back on to the peloton.
Hopefully see a bit more of him this weekend.

I would've beaten him though. Got good legs at the moment. His only significant result is a processional short tour in the developing world.

That wasn't sports chat anyway. It was an impassioned outburst. Sports chat is fucking monotone incarnate.

Archetypal sports chat: a concatenation of schwas with a flat intonation, content veering between stating the obvious, repeating or paraphrasing the previous uttterance, and making 'safe' observations or predictions.
It's refreshing when a little whimsy is injected into the proceedings, particularly by professional commentators. Anything to alleviate the tedium of any sporting event which lasts for more than half an hour.
Obviously the general style rises above the normal sports chat mediocrity (tautology) on here due to the fact that every single member of lfgss is better than anyone else on the internet (at everything). That's a given. I'm not going to dispute the indisputable. I'm not fucking mental.

Wiggins in anger mode after mechanical failure forces bike change on the mountain at Giro del Trentino. Madly chasing the lead group (Nibs, Cuddles et al)

which turned into the coolest bit of bike parking seen for quite some time.
Everyone else went at the same time? He didn't have the length needed.
