  • Saying that Sagan looks to be making a effort now..

  • @andyp ah yes, the points. I always fail to look beyond the race at hand on the day, stupidly romantic

  • maybe....

  • Gap coming down and G2 making Sagan take longer turns.. Love it..

    Fuck I love these races..

  • Thomas must be loving this.

    Welcome back G.

  • Too little, too late.

  • what are you guys watching this on?

  • better than the crap stream I got off firstrow - cheers Andy

  • oh - and brave

  • You get a crappy ad every now and again and have to wait 30 sec to close it though..

  • standard for streams really

  • Sparrrrr

    Taaaaa

    Cusssss!!!!

    well deserved

RVV & P-R are going to be SO awesome

    another warm-up this Sunday: Gent-Wevelgem

  • I keep getting asked if I like to date Asian girls

  • great timing, great effort

Sagan is like the 2012 Cancellara

    Injured?

  • I keep getting asked if I like to date Asian girls

You are a Tory MP AICM£5

  • :-)

  • It's shaping up really nicely for RVV and P-R. Hopefully Boonen can improve.
    Sagan vs Canc Vs Boonen!

  • Injured?

everybody's watching him and riding 'against' him is what I meant.

on top of that: interesting point being made by the Sporza commentators was that his knowledge of the race's course has to improve. knowing the lines (e.g. to ride the footpath instead of the road at the right time) and conditions, what gear to choose on the cobbled climbs (not too small so you can still accelerate without shifting) etc.

he's super talented (duh) silly strong and can handle a bike on any surface far better than most in the peloton, but this is absolute major league bike racing in which you can't afford to freestyle your way through, or smoke up most of your team members 'cause you missed the break.

  • He's done a lot of racing in the last couple of weeks. Too many races to know inside-out?

I get the impression the classics often reward those who've really done their homework.

  • Plus he probably needs a LFGSS beikfit™

    Good points well made

    Sagan vs Canc Vs Boonen!

Can't see Boonen really being up to strength until mid-season, given the disruption of his infected elbow, which was very serious. He looks a pale imitation of the rider this time last season.

Which means, just like Gilbert last year, he'll probably win the rainbow hoops

  • repeat on Brit Eurosport now.. Just at the kick off point..
